Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #262 Framing Your Photos

This week Amy suggests we share a few different ways a photo can be framed either by nature or man made designs.

The header shot is framed by beautiful oak trees and marsh grasses at sunset. The two framed, sculpted flower designs below are located on the lawn of the City Hall Building in Old Montreal, Canada.

An example of a wrought iron gate framing a view of the harbor in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

A locked doorway protecting the privacy of a garden and walkway on the hill in Eze, Monaco.

A bee is framed by the lovely greenish daisy as it gathers pollen.

I will close by showing a favorite picture of a young boy taken in a children’s museum.

Hope you enjoyed seeing these images. And, be sure to see Amy’s beautiful post, The World is a Book, by clicking here.

  1. Amazing sunset, Sylvia! And the flower decorations are very popular here as well. Many cities display their own motifs every year. The little boy is really a lovely capture. A lovely post as usual!

  2. Thanks Tina, we are so fortunate to have such lovely sunsets and sunrises where we live.🙂 The view from Monte Carlo gate turned out to be a surprise when strolling in the park, it was not very obvious at first. Hope all is well with you. 💕

  3. Thank you, Amy! The detailed flower designs in the small gardens were awesome to see in person. There are numerous small gardens around city hall and it was interesting to watch several people as they were being manicured.

  4. The sunset is beautifully framed by the oak tree, breathtaking. The colors and details of these two sculpted flower designs are incredible. Love the last image! Excellent selections, Sylvia!
