Patti is challenging us to pick one color and then select several photos featuring just that color. Starting with a large subject and then progress down in size by showing smaller and smaller examples.
Yellow is such a happy color that I decided to feature it. As the sun came out from behind the rain clouds it ended up casting such a lovely yellow glow on everything it touched. (This first picture was featured not too long ago in my post on Natural Light.)

Moving from the sun light outside to our house in Maine where we recently had the inside painted this soft yellow color.
“My favorite color to glaze at is yellow. It always glows just like stained glass lit up by the sun.” – James Jones
Needless to say, this 1950-51 Classic Studebaker attracts a lot of attention!

Since these majestic yellow lilies have been around for years, these plants have grown quite large, creating beautiful yellow colors along this sidewalk by the water.

The sun was shining so brightly on this yellow flower, its reflection covers part of the Paper Kite Butterfly.

Even the smallest bits of yellow can make a bold statement when grouped together in a vase in the sunlight!

One last image added just for fun. This yellow orb was created from the picture above of the lilies and was edited with Adobe Photoshop software,
