“The Sea, once it casts its spell holds one in its net of wonder forever.” – Jacques Cousteau
My husband and I spend our summers in the southern part of Maine and I love walking along Marginal Way in Ogunquit. This beautiful walkway, beside the Atlantic Ocean, is lined with native trees and flowers with plenty of benches so people can sit and enjoy the ocean. Even though it is only a little over a mile each way there are many wonderful opportunities for picture taking.
On this particular day I was out early before the crowds gathered while a sea mist was still hanging in the air. On this particular morning my objective was a good brisk walk so only my cell phone was handy. Imagine my surprise as this man climbed the rocks and set up his easel and paints. Naturally I stopped, watched him for a bit and took a few pictures!
This image was taken with my iPhone 12 Max Pro at a high .jpg resolution. It was edited in Adobe Photoshop/Camera Raw and also Nik software. (Although the lighthouse and boat in the header was taken at a later date with my Nikon.)
I would like to thank John at Journeys with Johnbo for hosting Cellpic Sundays and inviting me to participate. Now days cell phones can take amazing pictures and I find myself using it quite often!
